Ryan began to look similar to a banana, so his doctor wants him to stay under bili lights until his biliruben goes down.  He goes into the lab once a day for a heel stick to get blood drawn while he is under the lights.  This is a very common problem with newborns, and he should only have to be under the lights for maybe two days.  He is eating much better now and is more active. 

Doesn't he look content with his arm hangin out? He did that on his own...funny...

This is Ryan sleeping soundly in his new cradle that his Grandpa Peters
made for him. It is 100% cherry wood.  Mom and Dad think it is beautiful.
